I signed uo for a credit report and never recieved it. On the second day I cancelled online. My banking account was charged 14.95. When I called to find out why they told me I had recieved a creit report. After telling the women on the phone that I did'nt and that they had even e-mailed me asking if they could help her response was, "so what".
In addition she could not find an account under my name and told me the is only way she could help me was to take my credit card number and FULL SSN#, she said the last 4 digits would not work.
I went on to explain that I had followed their online instructions to cancelled within the 7 day timeline. She said within the terms it also states you must ALSO call in.
I paid 14.95 for absolutley nothing, this company operates under
Free Credit Report.com and MNI.

Adding multiple hurdles to cancellation, or obscuring cancellation terms, for the purpose of delaying consumer attempts at cancellation after some "cancellation window", are indicators of deceptive or fraudulent intent.
Dispute the charges through your bank under FRB Reg. E due to their failure to deliver, and close your account, as the "free credit report" sites usually charge monthly until you figure out how to stop them.
In addition, file a complaint with FTC, due to their failure to deliver product after charging, and their attempt to block your cancellation.
FTC has gone after several for deceptive advertising.
They even produced a parody of the "pirate restaurant" TV commercials:
