Recieved a call from a man named John Nelson, with very thick accent. He put his Supervisor, Anthony Johnson, on the phone, upon my repeated request,  demanding $956 to be paid immediately to a business called Cash Advance America for an alleged loan he claimed my wife failed to pay over a year ago. Never had a loan from them, never heard of them. He said if she didn't pay today that another company called American Law Division had a "senior" attorney ready to file suit against her tomorrow in "Oklahoma Court" for over $4000 after attorney's fee's. He had the last four digits of her social security number. He never could furnish our address. He claimed her employer was also being "investigated." He also called my wife at her work place earlier in the day. He told her she had failed to take care of her business and that she would "end up behind the bars."  She continued to ask for a Supervisor and was told by Anthony that he was the Supervisor. She asked for his Supervisor because, while he claimed to be American and had an American name, his accent was so thick she could not understand a word he was saying. He then started talking really quickly and shouting. She just kept shouting back for him to put someone who could speak English on the line and he hung up.  He also told her his company had sent 18 emails that had gone ignored. ROFL! Of course, those types of emails always get deleted!  Not a letter or correspondence one.  Just the emails... which, upon sifting through my past email logs were not found.  My wife was very upset and I told her it was a scam and I'd be able to find something on the internet to prove it. Of course, I have found that proof here. You'll also note, they never put a phone number on their web sites.  I'll have to see if they keep calling before I try to take any legal action, which I doubt would do any good since they are foreigners. I suppose I'll play along and make them mad everytime they call... who know's it might be fun!

    Yes this has happened to me today, they called my house 830 am then my pob 11 their number
    773-741*7523, same scenario people (male and female with VERY THICK ACCENT) I am going to report to FTC ASAP

    Received a call from a man with a very thick accent. Of course I received the same information, I've been reading about. Unfortunately, I did apply for an online loan, but changed my mind so I know I didn't get any money deposited into my account from one of these companies. The man I spoke with said that I had three criminal complaints against me and I had two options: one being to pay or go to court. I said I chose to go to court and that I would get all of my statements, proving that I did not get this money. He to me that he had my credit report, showing that I did get this money. He said that I would be served with a subpoena at my job because I had failed to respond to the email inquiries regading my failure to repay this loan, in the amount of 300.00. I explained the situation to my supervisor, because of the threat of being served here at work (I work for a police department) and he suggested that I google the online company (Cash Advance America) and surprise, surprise, I see all of these same complaints. I can now at least relax, because I was not looking forwarding to going to court and trying to prove something that I know is not true.

    I received a call from a guy named Ken Nelson claimed I had received a cash loan from them in march states to me that I owe 856.00, states there has been a warrant issued for my arrest because when my account was attempted to be drafted they claimed it was returned insufficient they claim I now owe them 8000.00 I was told they would call my job and have me fired and that I would be arrested @ my job and took to jail for fraud, larceny, and I would stay in jail until  my court date with the judge, when I asked when I was suppose to have gotten this, I was told not to speak until I was told to,at that point I was advised they could keep all this from happening by paying 300.00 today.

    they are callin me from a 917-639-5580 saying i owe them 9000.i called them and said that i was repoting them to the fbi and they hung up and would not answer my calls no more

    i got calls like this today after i applied for a payday loan online. they are hacking into payday loan sites and using that information to say you already owe money. which you do not. HILARIOUS!!!. I harassed them for about an hour. They told me to f**** off once i started asking questions. Be aware of these people. Justin Gray , Mike Anderson, Mike Wilson, Edward White. Phone numbers 540-322-4965, 904-900-8341. I contacted my local Financial Institution Division in NV and filed a complaint. Also filed a complaint with the FTC. They ended up make me laugh because they're  scam is so half  a**sed that they can't answer simple questions. Please be careful. It took me 10 minutes to research these people. A t lot less time than trying to recover funds and cancelling bank accounts.

    Yes I also receive a call from a guy name Brandon he cell number is 347-342-0615 and he keep saying that I took a payday loan for 300 and I don't pay it back now he keep saying that if I don't pay it back I will be going through jail say the court will charge me 5000 dollars so he said I have turn my self in tomorrow and I was like oh on and I call back I was like this is the state attorney of new jersey how can I help you his hang up the phone and he change is number I think freaking scams people we need  to be carefully with this people

    Same story, same scumbag- just different names and phone numbers. Continue to report each phone # to FTC. Told him to get someone who speaks proper english- his scam might be more believable. The investigator pulled up all the phone #'s.... all are from prepaid cell phones. Don't let them get the best of you. Was also told to tell him all calls are being traced.

    I recieved a call from Attorney alan watson saying that I was going to be arrested for not paying on a loan I had taken out. Said I owed $600 on this loan and that if I didn't pay the Kendall Co. Sheriff Dept would be at my door step and I was going to be taken to jail. Then he put his supervisor on the phone a Mr. Jason Miller.He advised me to go to Wal=Mart and buy a Visa debit card. I was guilty of borrowing $150. from Cash Advance and got behind on paying them off. I got frightened and followed his instructions and sent them by fax the number on the card total amount of $300. because I told them I didn't have $600. He said to send $300. this month and then $300. the following month. I called Cash Advance and they told me that they handled all of their deliquent files in house and that I had been scammed. I called Kendall County Sheriff and they sent an officer to my home and I made a report. While they were Jason Miller happened to call and the officer took the call. These people have a ver sophisticated operation because they were calling from the Kendall County Sheriff Dept. number. And from Comfort the next town over. The deputy took all the information and they said that they were going to check their all of their phone lines and track them down. They had phone numbers that covered every state in the US. Appearently they must have gotten busted because a couple of weeks later they called my number and said some very filthy things to me like what they were going to do to me. I became very scared because they knew my address my ss# and my son living with me. I still get calls from them and they use the name alan watson, jason miller shawn white, They are Indian decent you can tell by their heavy accent. I just put them straight to voice mail because my phone dose not have block calls." NO" I never did get my $300. back. and I paid the real Cash Advance what I owed. Beware America these people are scarey. They have people all over and are scaring people like me. I am a single mother and I fear for my 11yr.old son.They have information on anyone they call. I take them very serious. They are scamming for money to send for their cause. I don't even answer their calls. Now I am getting "UNKOWN" calls at least 10 times a day and there is no way to send them to voice mail because there is no number to send. I just don't answer. Somebody please tell me how to stop the "UNKNOWN" CALLS.

    I just went through the same thing the number was 913-839-6875. If someone calls you from this number with an Indian accent threatening you with warrants then hang up and never answer again.

    I got a call from a 3225248405 stating that they where from the California Attorney General's Office stating I needed to call them back about an important legal matter. I called them back they answered the phone "hello how may I help you" sounds just like a greeting for the California AGs office. So I told him I got a phone call from this number about a legal claim. He asked me for my name and telephone number I gave it to him. Then he proceeded to tell me that he was with the California attorney generals office and that I took out a payday loan with Cash Advance America they tried to collect on the funds and it was returned and that they were filing sever criminal charges. He said that he can settle the matter today and I won't have to go to jail for $500. I said damn California must be really [***] if the California Attorney General is now collecting on payday loans. He got an attitude I asked him for the account number and date of transaction he said he didn't have any of that information I said so you mean to tell me You the California Attorney General don't have the account info he asked why I was mocking him I asked so if I pay you and you don't have the account info how will the account get payed.  I asked since when is the California AG collecting debt he said who said anything about the California AG I told him you did that's who you told me you worked for no I work for cash advance America  I said really now you work for them so the California AG works for Cash Advance America he hung up. So I called him back we hashed everything out again I kept asking for account info he got an attitude and told me he was going to put me behind bars tomorrow I said Mr AG if that you think you should do then do it. He asked why are you calling me Mr AG my name is Ronnie Anderson not AG  I laughed a told him I know your curry eating [***] doesnt have a name like Ronnie Anderson. This number is from Las Angles California, I called when I got off work this morning at 0600 CST and got an answer from a curry eating Ronnie Cooper I asked him what time it was there, he hung up that's awful early in the morning for the California Attorney General's Office to be answering the phone. I called again and rehashed everything out again about the account info and he said one of my officers talked to you yesterday this matter is over you will be behind bars today. I asked wait a minute you mean to tell me that yesterday you were the Cailfornia Attorney General and now you are officers. Now this is the second time you have threatened me you curry eating [***] its my turn if there is one blemish on my credit report or one draft on my bank accounts I will hunt you down cut your balls off and strangle your wife with them and then pour pigs blood all over y'all. Now that isn't a threat that's money in the bank.

    Just a little FYI no lender or bank can press criminal charges for not repaying a loan that is a civil matter.

    I also just got a phone call they also called my job telling my job they was going to have me arrested and then i called and they said that i owed money for a loan and i was going to go to jail for 3 65 dollars. that they were coming to get me. I never got a loan from these people. the number is 214-771-7151

      I justed received a call at my job by Officer Jackson stating that they were looking for me. I played like I did not work for the company any longer and he stated she needed to contact me today. The are scamemrs, because they do not want to give you any information, but they want to tell you how to send them some money. Yes, I did get a loan from a company, but I only deal with that company directly. Do not give them any information or send them any money. Just hang up the phone, that really pisses them off.

      I have a new one for you i have been getting phone calls for the past week from an Eddie MC Neil stating he is an attorney also. that not to ignore this phone call . Cash advanced its a scam they are calling my husband now. They called and harassed me everyday at work last year,so i called our local police and filed a complaint with them and the state last year. All the calls stopped until recently.214-771-7151

      I just got a call on my voicemail saying this is Law  Enforcement for me to call him bck @ this number 214 771-7151. Saying if I don't call bck that he wish me luck. I also got a call yestherday from the same people different name and number. Cuz I said I just called the Federal Police and to stop calling my phone. So he called me from a different number these people r crazy. They need to stop.

      That is the same number that is calling me and my Job!!!!!    First time he called he was Peter black,then he was Adam smith now he is the sherrif.....    He said if I don't pay $500 I'm going to jail....    I ask for proof over and over and he will say its In the mail but it never comes......he is stupid as [***] it's the same guy every time... He has a strong accent.... Maybe Indian

    These EVIL nuts will get theres in the end They are programmed in to doing this stuff. They are ruthless and evil. I too have been getting this calls officer steve martin ben johnson lloyd weber to many names to keep up with Likeevery one from india names there kid these names. Now they can call from law inforcement center off there computer. My caller stated i toke out a payday from us advance or us payday but i never did then he said someone did with my info and i needed to go to kmart or walmart get 4 visa green dot card for 500 and 1 @ 333.00 and call him back when i got them . if you get these call call the police they will at lease give ya a peace of mind . Iam sorry this is happending to you all I will pray for this to stop  God Bless
