If you get this number 202 559 0661 and say there are the IRS trying to contact you and are going to sue you it is a hoax. They want your social security number

202-559-0661 Called my office using a taped recording with electronic female voice, saying the IRS has filed a lawsuit against me, requesting I call 202-559-0661 immediately. I called twice, but did not speak. Both times a man with a very heavy Punjabi accent responded, "Thank you for calling the IRS. How can I help you?"

I received a call from someone claiming to be the IRS saying they are filing a suit against me. and to call them back. I hung up..

I got this message today as a voice mail.... very suspicious because I know of no IRS debts and have received no mail from the IRS about this. Checked on line and voila ... a hoax. Also do not believe the IRS would ask people to call other than an 800# even if they were leaving phone messages, and they would not mention a "law suit" in a taped message.

I've gotten 2 phone calls stating they were the IRS and they were filing a law suit against me. How can this be stopped. Same number everyone else got.But got no letter from the IRS at all.

Got the call today. Completely robotic female voice. If its the IRS suing you they will send certified letters. Or you will be served papers.

here we go again...... Someone being a dufass, thinking all people are stupid, I have not now, never have owed the IRS NOTHING! ....... This is too funny, just when I thought I was going to have a solemn week... Up pops this crap! Well I'm getting ready to call my friend at the IRS.
