Dear Maytag,
I purchased Maytag Washer model # MVWC400XW on 08/12/2012.
Prior to this washer I had a Maytag washer for around 20 yrs.
I was so satisfied with my old washer that I was determined to buy another Maytag as a replacement.
It frustrates me that Maytag’s quality has diminished rather than improved.
I have never been so dissatisfied.
This Maytag washer is not living up to its description that it's an energy saving washer. I find myself spending several hours doing the same laundry that I used to get done in two hours. Not to mention the soap residue on the darker cloth. (I do measure the proper amount of HE detergent).
I regret that I bought this washer and I'm saddened to find that Maytag, a name and product that once was excellent has put out such an inferior product
