Fraud

I was contacted by a person by name Sam with an area code 818-660-0670 x 007. He mentioned that he can reduce my dish billing from $92.00 to $80 each month provided I paid a three months in advance.For this to happen, he mentioned that he shall be depositing into my Dish Account $240. He even wanted me to verify that a payment for $240 was done into my account and then pay him back using Western Union. I did verify that the money for $240 was in my dish account.

However, after two months, I found that someone had contacted Dish to refund $240 since someone had used their credit card unauthorized. Dish immediately refunded this money. Now when I contacted Arrow Satellite yesterday, the person I spoke mentioned that he shall be calling me back within 2 hours for clarification. But that did not happen. When I tried calling them again today, the line seems to be busy (from the phone I used yesterday) but seems to work when I call them using a different phone. This shows they have blocked my earlier phone number. When their phone worked when I used a different phone, I am asked to leave a message.

To me, this is fraud and the problem is that Dish is in Cahouts with this company since Arrow Satellite had all my information (home number, the dish package I had etc.). I shall wait for one more day and plan to call in law enforcement authorities
