I did not order or receive any issues of this magazine.  I have been living at my new location since July 2011 and feel that the paperwork generated for a $6.25 charge is rediculous.

Hearst uses a sleazy collection agency/marketer known as Sunrise Credit to try to coerce former or potential customers to renew if they haven't renewed, or subscribe after they request free magazine samples.

Their letters are vaguely threatening, hinting that they are collection letters, and that payments are delinquent.

Notify Hearst (and Sunrise, if they contact you) that you didn't subscribe to this magazine.  They generally go away.

If you have further problems, file complaints with FTC, your state AG, the U.S. Postal Inspector, and BBB.

If contacted by Sunrise, because they are also a debt collector subject to FDCPA, send a letter, certified, notifying them that you did not subscribe, and that you dispute and request proof of any alleged debt.

If they continue any collection activity without sending proof, following such a dispute letter sent within 30 days of their first letter to you, you can sue them for violating FDCPA.

This will cover your a$$, but since it costs you for certified, extract your own cost back, through fraud complaints to the above authorities.  What they are doing is a deceptive and unfair trade practice, and they keep doing it.
