This number - 909-842-9188- is from somewhere in Ontario, Canada. There is a recording that "guarantees" to sell your timeshare for a fee of $199. When I got to a live person & stated "we don't own a timeshare" he hung up on me!

    Be extremely wary of any telemarketing call from Canada, expecially any caller asking for an up front fee.  Ontario, and in particular Montreal, are major locations for a number of "advance fee" loan scams.  A lot of people are desperate for money now, and selling off their timeshares might be appealing.  "Guaranteed" selling "your timeshare" for any up-front fee sounds like another fishing attempt for suckers.

    Unfortunately, there is virtually no resale market for timeshare anymore. The market has collapsed and the stark truth is most timeshare is worthless. Ebay is full of timeshare weeks unsold for only $1. If you really want to get out of your timeshare contract my advice would be that you cancel your contract, this is a good article on how to cancel a timeshare:
