I signed up for LA Fitness because I was told it's an easy cancel if it didn't work out.I explained at startup that I barely work & was in the process of finding a job.Their  persistent attempts at "selling" services was annoying & I finally gave in/ I wanted to improve my health. After trying out 1 personal training session, along with classes & equipment, I decided I did not fit in at this gym.It was too $ monthly, I still have not found a full-time job, I had a death of an uncle in the family, &I've been getting check-ups & procedures done due to cysts.I attempted to cancel my personal training in August, but no club member EVER got back to me.Anytime they called me, it was for more selling.I then got frustrated & sent a letter.Once again, no cancellation went through & NOBODY contacted me for help. So, I wrote another letter, this time sending both to my local gym & the main office in CA.I received a letter confirming my cancellation. However, I continue to see $160 being taken out of my account that I am not authorizing for personal training I do not receive.I have tried talking to customer service over & over. They say they'll call me back & never do.They say I'm on contract, which once again Tim from Springfield, MA said I was not on contract, hence why I paid over $200 just for a startup fee.I am beyond frustrated & even broke down in tears on the phone.I don't have time due to medical appt & job hunting, nor $ to pay such a selfish & horrible customer service company.
