Canceling services

I had Dish network, we were on a "contract" I wanted to cancel after being on this "contract" for two years, we were moving and the new place wouldn't allow for any new dish type services that weren't all ready installed at the home. I've been paying since then a pause fee. They don't tell you they will automatically put you back on the services. So I just called again 2/18/20 after getting an email for a bill of 200 bucks to have them pause ONCE MORE for 9 more months. They told me I could gift my services to someone else and let them start paying for the package....UM no thanks.
