Hello
I have Rogers wireless 3 years contract.  Currently 17 months are pending on VOICE Only contact.
I am being transferrred to a new job posting which is outside of Canada, so I called Rogers to cancel my subscription.  Guess what, I have to pay for the balance period.  Only if I am die I can get out of this contract. WOW !  I am from India and even a Third World Country like India has CONSUMER PROTECTION whereby such UNILATERLA and binding contracts are just not permitted.  ROGERS must have good political connection or Canada is yet to awaken to Consumer Protection Act... (USA USA pleas Educate us !)
