Seattle. Charge for $74.95 on 1/28 appeared on my card.  Totally unauthorized.  Immediately reported it to VISA.  Have no idea how card number was taken.  Used card at Blockbuster on 1/17 for first time in ages and suspect that company as source of it, but no proof. Also had a first time payment to Enterprise Rent a Car in same time frame.  Called bank and it is monitoring.

    Have your bank immediately block the card number, as others are reporting multiple attempts to slip through fraudulent charges.

    Have you ever used that card on-line?

    The Same exact thing happened to my company vis card on 1/29/12. Same +number. Account charged for $74.95.

    I also had the same charge of $74.95!  What the heck??

    Did any of you have a booth at a flea market today?  This charge followed a booth rental.

    We are speaking with our bank and this $74.95 charge was made shortly after our booth rental.  Only one other purchase was made at a McDonald's.

    All these complaints are in Feb 2012. It seems to be a pattern that the fraudulent charges were made after a period of inactivity or a newly issued card. Be Careful.

    Just got the same charge on my card and called my bank right away
    Glad im not alone.

    I also was taken by those frauds, what a scam. they need to be brought to justice.

    AND the most odd part of it .....is the bank doesn't have any information on where the charges are coming from either!!!  no phone numbers, and the only name is "Digital Star"!!!  we hadn't even used our card in that time frame??!!  So the question is how are they getting everyone's information!!???

    Illinois, there also is a "International Transcation Fee" you need to watch for!!!  Ours was $2.25!!   On a another link, people say it's from a Theater Compnay, but we have no information regarding this company and have not been on Amazon or had used the card in or on the day that charge came thru!!  But appears it's thoughout the U.S.

    they just stole $149.99 from me. i called the bank i hope i get the money back. i cancelled the card. we will see i guess.

    I just checked my TD US$ visa card and the only two charges on there were from "Digital Star" for $74.95 each (about 3 weeks apart).  I only use this card when I go on a cruise or other travel in the USA or in November to order a few things for Christmas.  They are cancelling my cards and issuing new ones.  I was told this was a Theatrical Company out of England and the lady at Visa told me I was the second person that day to have complained about Digital Star Charges.  I sure hope they catch these [***] !!!
