OMG. I thought I was the only one having issues with Walmart. A weeks ago I was given a toll free # to call because my small return was denied without receipt. I asked them if they could locate my receipt with my credit number and they said that wasn't an option. I asked if they could exchange the broken item but they refused as well. I call the toll free # and was told I was only allowed 3 returns without receipts every 6 months even though I only had 2 returns in 12 months. After I complained to the GM, she offered to refund me the money but by then I already throw the merchandise in the garbage because I was very upset. Just 48 hrs ago, I spent over $300 in office supplies getting ready for my business taxes. Today I went back to Walmart to return the items I didn't use and still in their package in good condition and with my receipts. I was shocked when I was denied refund on my credit card again and was told to call that toll free # again. After I raised hell with another manager, he told me Walmart has the right to deny any returns to customers even with the receipts. Furthermore while reviewing my receipts, I discovered they charged me twice for one items, didn't give me the sale price for 13 binders and didn't get two items for the food I paid for. I have my own business, have excellent credit and have no debts so I am not sure who is monitoring my return and why. I cannot wait for the weekend to be over so I can file a lawsuit against Walmart. They are dishonoring their own 90 days Return Policy which is a Violation of Consumer Protection Act. It's unfair, deceptive and fraudulent business practices. Walmart is not making good on their promises and cheating people out of money. I have relied on their policy when I made my purchase and now only after only 48 hours they are telling me that Walmart has the right to deny customers a refund without a good reason even with a valid receipt. If they are having problems with theft that isn't my problem and I shouldn't paying for their loses by trying to recuperate it from honest customers. The fact is I had my receipts. They have cameras all over the store and they know exactly who is the thief. The thief's is more likely among them. This is interesting. They charged me twice for the same items. They over-charged me for the advertised price. They held back my food that I paid for then refused to give it back to me unless I produce the receipt even-though they had it marked on their book and they showed it to me. And now they are questioning my honesty? Give me a break! A Class Action Suit is not an option, it's a must!
