Unsolicited call

I received a suspicious call from 3146674131.  He asked for personal information about my residence. Such as am I the owner and will I be selling.  He would not reveal his full name or company.  I belive this may be some sort a scam. I ran a reverse lookup the city for 314 area code is St. Louis then LEVEL 3 COMMUNICATIONS LANDLINE appeared.
