Free trial period

Was told this site you could download free movies. When I went there it said it had a five day free trial. When I saw that if I wanted to join would cost $39.95. I cancelled the transaction at that point but was still charged on my credit card. When capital one said I had an international transaction I sent them a reply and told them I cancelled the transaction.
