Deceptive Billing and Sales practices

Direct TV advertises they have the best customer services but my experience has been quite the contrary. I have tried all of the services available to me including Comcast and Uverse - DirectTv is by far the worse customer service I have experienced. I have even been insulted by their technical support - some kid I swear was high and kept calling me "bud" and talking over the top of me even after I told him that it was unprofessional and disrespectful. Their sales and billing tactics are deceptive if not fraudulent. Upon signing up for their service they conveniently neglect to inform you of significant issues relative to the cost of the service; unlike cable there is no onsite service unless you pay a significant service call fee ($80 i think) and once you accept the charge you may find out (as I did) it will take several days for someone to actually show up. And believe me their will be required service - at the very lest your antenna will need to be adjusted from strong winds and deiced\snow removed in the dead of winter. So plan on crawling out on your roof in the worst of weather conditions with the help of someone else monitoring your signal inside while you make various minuscule adjustments with a socket wrench or ponying up the bucks and waiting for someone to show up while you have no service. Also what ever equipment you get upfront - you are locked into. If you want to add another box to your service - even if you buy it ("lease") from another resaler - they will automatically restart your service contract. So EVEN THOUGH YOU ARE WILLING TO PAY AN ADDITIONAL MONTHLY FEE AND A $100 UPFRONT FEE FOR THE BOX ITSELF THEY WILL REFUSE TO TURN IT ON WITHOUT FORCING YOU TO START A NEW 2 YEAR SERVICE COMMITMENT. None of the aforementioned costs, restrictions or maintenance issues were conveyed to me in any way by the sales or installation representatives prior to my contract commitment despite my extensive conversations with them regarding their packages, promotions and HD technology. To me that is fraud and I am considering legal recourse in the matter.
