The Turkish airlines damaged my bag badly and with out my knowledge they open my bag that is really lack of respect for the costumer privacy. After they did it they are not able to pay the compensation equivalent to the damaged bag. When I traveled two times I received my luggage after a week and damaged which is really unacceptable. The last incidence happen when I traveled from Istanbul to São Poulo my bag lost and it arrived after a week. When I received I found my bag is totally damaged the most surprising thing is to fix the bag without my knowledge they break the locker of my bag which is not expected from an airline considered the best in the world. Still the compensation they provide is not consider the current price available in the market to buy the bag. Now complain about the lost and damaged bag in Turkish airlines is the common practice.

Subject: Damaged Suitcase claim
I travelled from Karachi to Los Angeles LAX airport on 8th. December 2012 via Istanbul. I was on a wheelchair the loader had collected my luggage and loaded them in a vehicle that came to pick me up. On reaching home I found my suitcase damaged at two places, one the wheel at the corner and one of the links of the pull-out extendible handle. Photographs are attached. Following are some more detail:
• Size: 16” x 18” x 28”
• Color: black
• Make: Transglobe ®
• Flight No. TK 0009
• Date of travel: 8th December 2012
• Copy of the luggage tag attached
• Photographs attached
• Air ticket copy attached
Kindly inform me the procedure to claim for my damaged suitcase which is totally unusable now.
