Today, I received a call from Card Member Services; representative had some of my credit card information and asked me to verify; promised to reduce my rates to approximately 6%. Before I was transferred to person to process the rate reduction, I began to question the representative about the $4k cost; affect on credit score; contact phone number, etc . Needless to say the conversation went South and the representative reminded me of all information I had given him. I researched the company on the internet and realized that I was being scammed and hung up.  I immediately called my credit card companies and closed the accounts.  Please do something about this company.
