DO NOT give private info to Dish!

I called Dish to add internet to existing satellite TV. Been a customer for 4 years with nary a single late payment. Foreigner with thick accent asks for entire social security number. Told him no way and he continued to try to cajole it out of me. I finally told him what he could do with DIsh and hung up. There is no reason for Dish to need my entire social security number ever. Do not give out this information or credit card numbers of bank accounts.  Dish employs people from 3rd world countries who scam this information even if you call the real Dish phone number. And they do not care that this is happening on their watch. Tried to report this for nearly 2 hours and literally no one cared. They just kept bouncing me from one rep to another. Ditch Dish.
