nov.22nd i had both my living room tv on and my play room tv on ...the children were watching a program in the play room,when all the sudden a big flash came from the room and the tv. system plus the direct tv system wasnt working any more. at that time we started looking for the problems to find out that the power inserter box was not working  ,but also the tv in the play room would no longer power up this  power inserter box is hooked directly to this tv and i have a very good feeling that it shorted the tv out causing it not to power up ...my living room tv will power up and my bed room tv will power up they just wont receive a signal from the satellite system . did did contact the company and they instructed me to contact u through this site to file a claim form ..                              thank you

    same thing watching tv in living room son watchimg tv in his loud pop noise all power in all three rooms with direct tv boxes went out went outside checked breakers the two that handle all three circuits were tripped flipped back on the surge protector in the livingroom popped and burnt out the other two were ok. But my sons tv wouldnt come back on neither would direct tv box norhis dvd player,or playstation3 had a repairman come out changed main board on my sons tv received replacement direct tv box in 2 days before technician hooked direct tv HDMI cable in and then plugged direct tv box into the wall and heard a pop he removed the HDMI port 1 cable and plugged it into plugged it in port 2 popped and sizzled.Just had another main board installed in sons tv technician wouldnt plug direct tv in worried about samething happening so we were going to hook it up in my bedroom turned power on to direct tv and my tv and heard a pop know my tv is fried they want to know if insurance can pay for equipment my deductible is to high i want to know how to get DIRECT TV to pay for my equipment any one have same issues please post even if its just your HDMI ports going out is a sign something isnt right
