Where to begin... these guys take your bad debt and sometimes also your money, and you do not hear anything except that they want more business from you... i talked with five different agents, all of whom promised me action on my TEST collection account.... after i had given them this first very EASY get for them for OVER one YEAR!, i had a very time sensitive BIG account i wanted to have collected, but would NOT give it to them without movement on my first one first.... i talked to the head guy there; Anthony Pellino who told me he was working on it... and would give me a CREDIT for the money i had already paid if i gave them my much BIGGER account.... and Promised he would personally call me back after that weekend on a Monday.... after a week of silence, i called and started leaving messages for him.... no reply.... just a friendly secretary who would ALWAYS tell me Mr. Pellino is on the phone with the attorney for your case!  HA HA HA! .... he's been on the same phone call for weeks! ... now they have my money, and i have nothing.... can't even talk with the guy in charged who promised this new approach would correct the year of frustration....
..to add the last bit of insult to my injury, i received a call today..... looong after i gave up on RPS .... the guy asked me if i had any business to give them..... when i told him about my situation, he asked; are you a client of ours? .... that's the kind of personal service you will get....
....i am going to find a new collection agency.... one that is accredited... and with good references.... live and learn....
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH RPS WORLDWIDE.

    David....did you ever find an accredited collection agency?  I was contemplating using RPS but after doing some research on them, I will avaid them like the plague.

      they took $3200 from me in 2012- never heard back from them!

      i work with them on my other cases...very honest!
      this time i went and visit their office and saw their faces!!!!!!

    I used to work there for 2 months so let me give you all a scoop. They have recently changed their name to HF holdings. The owner Bill Ficka is a major drug addict that everybody calls "boss" he comes into the office coked out of his mind. He curses at and treats everybody like crap. He encourages employees to basically steal from the customers. for example I once collected for a doctors office where we "forgot" to tell the doctor how much we collected. We eventually collected about $10k and only told him about $1k. If you hire them, you're going to be working with the manager Basil Hamden. He is an absolute scumbag who would steal from his own grandmothers grave if you turned your back on him. They may have you working with David Kahana who will basically just harass someone until they pay. the bottom line. DO NOT HIRE RPS WORLDWIDE OR HF HOLDINGS OR WHATEVER THEY CHANGE THEIR NAME TO. THEY WILL STEAL ANYTHING THEY COLLECT!

      Thank you for the heads up.

      I am one of those they are harassing right now, even though I am trying to collaborate. They just don't seem interested in making a deal, and hung up the phone on me an hour ago, when I said I wanted someone else to verify the agreement they sent me by email (written in 15 lines). They got pissed because I wanted 15 minutes to have someone else look at it, - why would they be concerned about that? Their case it pretty waterproof, I owe the money, there was a contract - so why not give me a little time to verify the agreement that I am about to make with them?  

      They keep threatening with a lawsuit. Would they do that for, say, 6k?

        They do not follow any guidelines of the Fair debt act. Even if you do pay them, they will not give your money to the creditor. They might sell legal services to your creditor but if they do file a lawsuit, they'll just collect the legal fees and not actually process the claim. Your best bet is to contact the company or person you owe directly and settle the debt with them. DONT PAY ANY MONEY TO RPS WORLDWIDE.

        Looks like they are now "out of business" (see BBB list of complaints).  I looked up HF Holdings, Inc., which is registered in the state of Florida under B. Hamdan ( who does the "F" stand for? Hmmmm).  I expect any accounts held under RPS will be "assigned" to this new company. The registered agent for HF Holdings is probably the lawyers they used to set up the corporation online.  All in public records!

          I am 100% sure the F in HF Holdings stands for Ficka. Hamdan and Ficka are never far apart. Bad business, bad employer, bad attitude.

      I also worked 4 then when they use to be called RPS. If u google ea name, u will c that Anthony Pellino, bill ficka, and Davis Kahana all been arrested for cocaine possession among other things. They are all losers and don't mind to hire criminals like them. When I was there they was all doing coke at work. Do not hire these people to steal your money, or work here unless u like coke.

    I am now receiving call from this company, in regard to my wife, deceased 12/07/15. All accounts for my wife, have been sent DEATH CERTIFICATE.. Almost all have written off her debt. This person calling DELGADO, Leaves very forceful messages, HF FUNDING, IMPERATIVE YOU CALL US IMMEDIATELY.ETC....
    WHAT SHOULD I DO, DESPISE talking to people like this.

    Legal Recovery Systems Inc, HF Holdings, and RPS  Worldwide are all the same. They are scam artist who steal money in order to supply their Coke habbits. If u Google and look under Anthony Pellino, David Kahna, and Bill/William Ficka u will see that they all 3 have been arrested for cocaine possession. Do not work for them unless u r a Coke head loser like them or give them any work as they will steal from u.

    Block his number.  Report him to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), a U.S. government agency.  Report him to State Bar Associations for the unauthorized practice of law.  Report him to the BBB.  Report him to you State Attorney General.

    David Kahana is the most unprofessional person i have ever encountered.  I let him work on a case for me and told him that after almost 2 years of waiting, that I was going to end my contract and try another agency.

    He called me screaming at me.  There are ways to deal with situations but the way he handled it was out of line.  DO NOT USE HIS SERVICES.  HE IS CURRENTLY WORKING AT THE COLLECTION FIRM
