Non Delivery of letter to customer

Sir,
I had sent a letter with a cheque for Rs 2000/= to be delivered to an NGO (both destination and sender at Bangalore).This was meant for helping young children to study by buying books for their Library,I had sent the cheque by courier on 21-8-09.I was tracking it and I found from the web site that it showed the letter to be delivered.But on contacting the customer, I was told that they had not received the same.Hence I gave this feed back to DTDC with the Docket details.Despite their promising of a respone within 24 hrs given on 1-9-09, no communication was given to me regarding the cheque.I do not understand the way DTDC has handled a customer complaint.Initially they had given wrong information.As of now, no information has been obtained.
Please help to get my complaint addressed.
