Florida Health Systems called several times saying they were doing a survey and then wanted to make an appointment for the survey and that both my husband and myself had to be at the appointment. I did not find them listed as a valid corporation for the state of Florida and told them so. I told them to put us on their Do-Not-Call-List since apparently they can call because they say they are doing a survey. Tonight they called again and I requested to be put on the Do-Not-Call-List again or I would have our attorney call. They hung up.

I am assuming you have no existing relationship with any company with "Florida Health Systems" in its name (whether a medical provider or what is apparently a credit union), since otherwise you would not have checked with the state of Florida, but with that known company.

407-331-4831 shows up as two different apparent residence land lines under 411.com and anywho.com.

No complaints appear against this number other than yours.

Name is generic enough it could be associated with some Florida area health provider, which appears to have an associated credit union.  Or not.

Although survey callers are exempt from Do Not Call list scrubbing, they should still honor specific requests.

Asking to "survey" you with your husband sounds like a sales pitch lead in.

Since nothing shows at this time, and reverse lookups point back to multiple residential lines (indicating typical residential turn-over), with no hits on nearby numbers consistent with a block of call center PBX numbers, caller id phone number may be spoofed.

Wait a couple weeks, and see if other complaints show up.  If they are engaged in heavy surveying, or selling under the guise of surveying to get around the Do Not Call laws, complaints should show up under numbers they use, even spoofed numbers, on 800notes.com, whocalled.us, etc.

That is about as much as I can infer from almost nothing.

    X Employee
Unfortunately, I worked for them for 2 days and got out. The reason is the shady appointments, the loop holes, do not compensate employees. They will tell there is a guaranteed salary of $24k a year but what they don't tell you is you have to complete 30 demos all the way through to the closing consider to qualify as one a piece. If you o not complete all 30 demos they will not pay you at all for your time. they try to set with people and then offer a $500 certificate as a thank you for doing so. We had 15 people in our training class and we only had 2 people remaining. The company is a scam, they promise the dream but do not deliver. If A CUSTOMER SAYS nO  they continue to high pressure sell them until they are thrown out of the house. This company is not a member of the BBB at all  do not recommend anyone taking a position with this company. I will be contacting the state attorney to look into this as well as the BBB.

    What, exactly, are they selling?

We have had several calls from them "out of area" - ask to speak to "The Man of The House" - deny telemarketing but want to make appointment.  Apparently getting people to work out of their homes on this.

407-862-4292 called claiming to do a 3 question survey for the new children's asthma program in Orlando. The next day they called to say we were selected from survey participants to recieve a prize. They confirmed home address and said they would stop by to present award and opportunity with Florida Healthy Systems. When the opportunity was delcined, they said they are coming anyway as the prize was won, and to expect someone at the door at 11:30 am. This is VERY disturbing.

    Nearly scammed by this company
Florida Health Systems, LLC is nothing more than a group of door to door solicitors pushing over priced Majestic Vacuum cleaners and Defender Air Purifiers. Once they are in your home, try getting them out. Nearly scammed a 91 yr old man by selling him their vacuum/air purifier system to the tune of $2138.98. Oh, did I mention how generous they were when he said he couldn't afford their initial cost of nearly $4000, and gave him a discount. When we discovered these hoodlums at his home, I had the gentlemen signed the contract cancellation line and try to get the sleezy rep to take the equipment with him. He refused stating the buyer had to return it by mail at his own expense and left.. Several phone calls later by the buyer's son and the Sherrif's Dept with a threat of arrest if they didn't comply, brought them back the next day to pick up their junk. It was then that we discovered they has asked the elderly man for his SS# number and called it in to GE Finance. That is why you don't see any payment by check or credit card if this were a contract you were checking for an elderly parent. Sneaky and fraudulent. Watch out for these guys. Their business license is out of Orange County(Orlando) and is only listed as a commercial drop shipment warehouse. If you check them in the State of Florida Corporations database, nothing turns up. Not sure how they managed to slide that by the county licensing agencies. Owner name is Nathaniel Mitchell and apparently two of his sons are sales reps. They travel in a white van marked Florida Health Systems so people seeing the van in a driveway would think it's for medical equipment delivery. Do not let them in your home and DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR SS#, Ck acct# or CREDIT CARD INFO

    These people are criminals!
I was visiting my parents today at their senior citizen mobile home park in Edgewater, and this young girl comes up with a bottle of dish soap asking for the lady of the house.  My mom said that would be her, but she's not buying anything and the park does not allow solicitors.  She claimed it was a gift for participating in a survey about their products.  My mom had to say no about three times before she took off and went next door.  In the meantime, a white van with four or five other people inside pull up in front of their house.  My mom told the driver about the "no solicitors" rule, clearly posted at the entrance.  He claimed he had an appointment with someone in the park but they weren't home.  So they were asking the neighbors if they would be interested in their products.  They were again told to leave, but continued to drive around the neighborhood banging on doors and accosting people who happened to be outside.  Fortunately a few ladies happened to be home and saw three men wearing the Florida Health Systems polo shirts get out of the van and walk into the home of a 95 year old woman.  They went right over and found three guys standing in this poor little old lady's living room pulling out a bunch of crap for their demonstration.  She told my mom and her friends she didn't call them, had no idea who they were, what they were talking about, or how they got into her living room.  Now, this lady may be in her 90's, but she's still pretty sharp.  They managed to get the guys out of her house, and again confronted the van driver. I do believe that qualifies as home invasion!  He went nuts and started getting very threatening to them, claiming that he was going to come back and go to ever @#$%-ing house in there and he'd just like them to try to stop him. One of them started to call the police and the van took off.  Apparently, they had been there the day before and stopped at a woman's home claiming they were there to clean her house.  She told the girl they must have the wrong house, but she kept insisting that they needed to come in to clean her house.  When she wouldn't go away, the resident informed her that she had a button on her wrist that if pushed there would a police car and an ambulance at the door before she could get back into that van.  Fortunately these are some scrappy older folks, so it turned out OK.  But this company is evil!  Police were called and I'll be contacting Orange County and the Florida Attorney General.

Well I have a botfriend that works for this company. And I see what everyone is talking about but to go through it trying to be supportive I feel is wrong. I don't like the way they operate cause he puts all his time into this suppose to be job and he won't get payed as a worker. I can see if they were getting paid for their time but times are to hard for that now. On the real I don't feel its right that they do that to people but the pressure is only on cause they don't get paid unless they sell. All the big guys are getting the money really

I am still reeling from a visit from the representatives of this company a couple of days ago. After I managed to get them out of the house I felt as if a tornado had blown through.
I had completed an entry for a draw at their booth at a home show in Orlando and the lady who followed up on the phone claimed that I was the runner-up in the draw and a rep from the company would like to drop by with my gift - a 3-day/2-night stay at a resort and a $3000 gift card to give me 50% off at any restaurant or store until the money was used up. That was the sole purpose of their visit.
I was sitting at the desk in the front of the house when I noticed a van draw up (more than 1 hr later than they'd said) and was greeted by an energetic and overpowering young man, followed by a second young man carrying a box and who handed me a bottle of washing-up liquid. While I was still listening to the first guy the second walked right past me into the house, sat down in my living room and started to unpack his box. The first guy left and I challenged the second that no-one had said they would try to sell me something. He said he wasn't trying to sell me anything - A BOLD FACE LIE! He proceeded at super speed to explain the benefits of their air-purification system. I tried to interrupt over and over but he carried on anyway. Next he pulled out forms and began to ask for information, including my SS#. I refused to give it to him but he insisted he needed it to determine if I qualified for credit. I stressed again that I would not be purchasing anything without first talking to my husband.

At this point he walked to my front door, opened it and brought in 2 more boxes that his "manager" must have left there. I told him immediately that he needn't bother opening those. I knew what the Filter Queen vacuum looked like and wasn't in the market for a cleaner. At that point he called his "manager" to come back to pick him up. A few minutes later the "manager" appeared and the rep rushed to my front door to let him in. He, the "manager" started over with the sales pressure and began with, "well, let me see if I can get you a deal on this". All the while I was insisting I didn't want to buy anything. He asked me yet again for my SS# for the credit check. They just weren't listening to me.

I eventually got them both out the door after 40-45 minutes. When I had time to think on what just happened I was frightened and angry at the same time. I could have used the air purification system to rid my house of the disgusting smell of cigarette smoke they both left behind.

These are smooth, fast-talking (and I mean FAST), lying, slimy characters from the telephone representative down. I'm shocked that a company like Filter Queen permits this kind of dishonest and deceptive behavior anywhere close to their products.
