These people are constantly calling and harrasing trying to get my credit card number for their alleged Who's Who listing. I have been contacted by several idividuals who I believe just change their names to try and confuse me to believe they're someone else. Their salesman John Braxton who I also believe to have an alias of John Waters was extremely rude and uncouth. When I spoke with their manager a woman named Sandra Gilmore she used profanity and hung the phone up on me. Please be aware of these dispicable individuals who's main goal was to obtain my credit card number to bleed a sick widow dry of what little finanaces she has left.

I too have been taken by this company for hundreds of dollars. They kill your bank account with kindness and try to cater to your ego. The salesperson I had the displeasure in dealing with was named Lee Bruno who for the most part bullied me into paying for things I had thought I already paid for. And they still were unable to get my name right on my biography and even had the nerve to put the wrong picture up on their website. This so called "manager" Sandra Gilmore was profoundly rude and sounded very uneducated

Looks like a new twist on the "business directory" scam, with the usual range of deceptive and threatening telemarketing tactics.  Such telemarketing scams often do use multiple names, targeting victims repeatedly when they think they have found someone they can con.  They also sell "sucker lists" to others running similar cons.

    Lori,
Change your phone number, to an unlisted one with on forwarding information from your own number, and register it on the Do Not Call list.  Then, if you have further problems, file Do Not Call complaints and contact FTC.

Or screen your calls with caller id until they stop.  Do not feed the sharks, or you get more sharks.

They've been calling my boss for the last week.  All I got was a phone number from a guys who wouldn't say what he's calling about or the company's name.   I called back the number and its "Who's Who".  The last call this so called "Doctor so so" said "oh, we're breaking up, I'm gonna have to call you back".

I believe that Cambridge Who's Who, Ashford Publishing Company, Premier Who's Who and American Registry are all in cahoots, defrauding and scamming left and right! They are all crooks, including Jackie Tufano, of Uniondale, NY! Tommy Huff, of Premier Who's Who got nasty with me on the phone when I refused to allow him to charge $599 to my credit card. It jes could be 'cause I told him to find two corn cobs, write Cambridge Who's Who and Ashford Publishing Company on them, respectively, and sit on them!!
I have reported them to Consumer Affairs.com. Someone needs to do something about these schemers, NOW!

The above mentioned individual, Tommy Huff, should have been identified as Tommy Duff. At 77, I am subject to memory failures. Thank you.

I was just hung up on and told to go F*&@ myself after I politely told the person who introduced himself as Micahel Baldrey(SP) of who's who that I was not interested thanks. These guys have been emailing me and calling me non stop for weeks. I am so disgusted! I called the number that came up on my phone (718)766-7980 back and was told by a recorded message that the number belonged to:  Jason Frankin of the Prineceton Global Network I left a message explaining what happened and going on to say that I was hitting every social network I could think of with a complete break down of the call. I hope that some how I can let people know just what a low class business is being operated here.

Premier who's who owner is jeff Burton.  He's been arrested and just got off federal probation. Google his name. Ashford premier Hoover and Lincoln are all the same comPany. Don't send a check because all they do is keep it on file and keep stealing money out if your account. They will bleed you dry like they did my 87 yr old retired father. My local Feds have been reported but I think others should too. What good is talking about it if were not gonna do anything about it?

I agree with everything that already has been written about this company.  To date, they have bilked me out of thosands and the last time they tried to contact me by phone.  When I didn't answer they took over a thousand dollars directly out of a small checking account.  Thank God for Overdraft Protection with the bank.  I did have to pay back $400 to cover the cost and then I called the bank to get paperwork to have the fees reversed.  The thing that these people say is that there are no refunds once they collect the money because you HAVE given your permission over the phone for the payments.  The money that I lost in 2010 has left me with no way to pay off my credit cards now until I die.  (I'll leave those bills to whomever takes care of my estate.)  DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH ANY OF THESE IDIOTS, PLEASE!

I have no complaints about Ashford Publishing in fact I am very happy with the company. Over the past year I have been dealing with the company and so far they have designed a great website for me and produced a series of radio show that are mine. I dont understand why people are angry with them.  They always make sure I agree to the charges and even record the coformation for my protection. In my opinion the only people who are mad are the ones that have buyers remorse. If you dont want to buy something dont give your credit card, Its that simple. If you go to ashfordradio.com you can see and hear the radio shows that they do. Its very impresive if you ask me. I posted my shows on my website and have gotten great reviews from my customers. From what i have heard from the person that i work with at Ashford is that there were some people who left the company and started there own whos who. In order for them to steal clients they started bashing the company. Im sure if you decide to do buisness with Ashford publishig/radio you will be happy. Unlike other publishins/whos who company's the do what they say. They produce geat radio shows and they are the only company that sent me a beautiful plaque that i paid for. Thankyou Ashford publishing for everything!!

As of today, 11/1/11, I have had over 7,435 emails from the Who' Who bozo's.  Not one of them using the same name, but probably all coming from the same person.  You have to ask yourself if the Who's Who people are ligit if they send out massive spam emails all using different names and domains.  They are SPAMMERS and no company that is ligit would EVER do that.

Just heard from Ashford Who's Who myself.  Their pitch is just like the Cambridge Who's Who, Madison's Who's Who, WTF's Who's Who et al...so far, I have had loads of fun screwing with Madison Who's Who callers, who first called to 'clarify' things in my online application (I filled one out with the most outlandish stuff I could put in it), and was complimented by the caller for my high level of achievement and professionalism (I listed that I was a 'research analyst for the International Crustacean Obedience Training Institute, located in Vaduz, Liechtenstein, and that I had a doctorate in Crustacean Studies from Harvard).  When it came time for the 'time to pay' game, I stretched that out for two more calls, until a *TOING* finally went off in the head of the second pleader, realizing that "the scammers were being played".    Anyway, I just finished rewriting the Ashford Who's Who email, and am sending it back to them and to every scammer email address I've collected and saved in my email.  I think they'll like what I've dun with their email (not).    Bottom line here:  ignore emails like theirs.  It's got SCAM written all over it.  But if you want to tweak 'em...respond with abject nonsense, and toy with them when they call.  At least in my case, they got mad enough to quit.

    Ashford Radio is a SCAM
Ashford Rado-Social Media-Publishing took me for all of my money and gave me absolutely nothing in return. I wanted to gain some exposure on a new business venture I took part in, knowing you have to spend money to make money. An Ashford salesman who claimed to be an "Executive Producer" called me to tell me that their team of editors found my information online and thought I would be an amazing addition to their International radio show.

I was told that I would be interviewed by one of their "celebrity" hosts in front of tens of millions of loyal fans throughout the world, gaining exposure and notoriety. I was promised that team Ashford would increase my visibility on search engines and they would create Press releases that would be streamlined through all the major media news outlets like the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, NBC, ABC, Washington Post, Bloomberg News and even the BBC.

I was told that I was receiving this package because of my credentials and the package that is usually $5000.00 would only cost me $2000.00. Well, I took the bait and did my radio shows with a Rose Clair, who was more nervous then I was during the interview. I didn't receive any callers that was promised, but overall I was proud of my performance in front of the "Millions" ;) listening throughout the world.

After I completed my show I was called by the "Real" Executive Producer John Broxton who touted me on my performance, and that I received a 94% ranking nationwide. The world Loved me and so did Ashford radio. I was told by this scam artist that he had plans for me, and that I needed to invest in more radio shows in order to gain international exposure. I was told I was going to be on the top AM and FM radio shows and I better act now before I miss this golden opportunity.

A series was proposed that I completed. (9 shows) I still didn't receive any responses what so ever. I was told by John Broxton that I needed to come to Long Island and do the Ashford experience. I was going be flown in first class, picked up by a limo, and stay at the Waldorf Astoria. I was going to meet the host and do an interview live on video that the whole world would see. I was told that I was going to meet the whole company and go out with them. I was told that if I did this Ashord experience and some videos that Success would be beating down my door. I was so excited when i embarked on my journey to Long Island to meet the team that would take me to a level I would never dream.

It turned out that I did not get to fly first class and I was not staying in the Waldorf. Instead I flew coach on my own dime and I stayed in some rat trap around the corner from the Ashford compound that was inundated with drug addicts and prostitutes. I didn't go out to dinner with anyone and I was left alone in a city that was unfamiliar after I completed my show that was documented by a video camera. This company promised me the world and came up short on every promise imaginable. After my shows and my life savings stolen from me( $80,000.00) I didn't get anyone who reached out to me because of the shows.

I was so upset that no one contacted me after all the money and time I spent trying to market myself with this company. I tried to call John Broxton to try to figure out what was going on, but after he realized I had no more money to spend, he stopped returning my calls. I have come to realize that my press releases filled with grammatical errors never touched down on any news outlets. I found out that they created a page online that was free, that they knew no one would ever see it.

I realized that no one was listening to any of their shows and that these scam artists lied in order to get more money from me. According to Blogtalkradio.com anyone can sign up and start a radio show for free, and that you can find out how many people were listening on the radio page. I had an average of 1-2% of activity during my shows. I just recently found out that a class action lawsuit is being conducted by many others who share the same "experience" I have with Ashford radio. I was told that John Broxton is an alias for the convicted felon James Mcinerney.

I found some information on John Broxton, I mean James Mcinerney online. http://www.finra.org/Newsroom/NewsReleases/1998/P010421. This man was busted for stock fraud and now he is at it again in another industry. It has come to my attention that many of the staff at Ashford use aliases and share the same criminal past. Frank Madden is another alias. his real name is Frank Passarella and he is also a felon. Jeff Burton the owner of the company is a convicted felon as well. Sandra Smitty the "General manager is actual Maylin Then. Mr. James Preston is really Paul Smith and Janice Blake is Lee Dee Bouno another felon.

Please beware of this group of evil scam artists and I hope that the authorities take them down. I have been left with absolutely nothing, and hope justice will prevail after the investigation I sounded off with my credit card companies is complete. Please avoid this scandalous company.

    Yep
Madison Who's Who is a scam, period. Don't fall for any of these Who's Who crap. There are a few legitimate ones but the others will suck your credit card dry. I almost worked for Madison and I am glad that I did research before I went for my last training session.
