    How do I remove this

    You're dealing with..
both check forgery and id theft.   TRS Recovery is the bounced check recovery company associated with Telecheck, which is a credit reporting agency (CRA) subject to regulation under federal law (FCRA/FACTA).  They are both part of FirstData.

Contact your local police to report the id theft and forgery incidents, and get a copy of the police report. (They should be able to verify this with both Walmart and the FBI).   Under federal law (FCRA/FACTA) you can then use that police report to get fraudulent entries removed from your credit reports, such as these forged checks in your Telecheck file.

Contact Telecheck to request a copy of their file on you.  They must provide this for free, since you have had an "adverse action" resulting from information in their files.  You should then find the fraudulent items on your file report, and file a dispute with Telecheck.  Send a copy of your police report to substantiate your claim that this is a forgery/id theft case.  Do everything IN WRITING, mailed CERTIFIED, so that you have a record of sending it, and of their receipt of it, as FCRA/FACTA places specific time limits on how fast they must respond to your disputes. Keep copies of everything, including the certified tags that datestamp your mailings.

Telecheck should "investigate", and remove the entries, within the time allowed by law.  If you have any problems, contact your state Attorney General for assistance.

You may also be able to sue Telecheck/TRS Recovery if they fail to remove erroneous damaging information.  You can find consumer attorneys in your state who handle these cases through www.naca.net

You will probably want to work with your bank to contain the damage if the forged checks actually have your account number on them, by closing your checking account (and opening a new one).  You should also ensure that you always have more than one banking relationship, or maybe an account at a credit union, because a trashed Telecheck file can interfere with your ability to open new bank accounts.

In the future, do NOT use checks at retail establishments.  It's much safer to use credit cards for retail or online purchases, and use checks only for paying bills by mail.

I  wrote a check at Walmart and it was declined because of reason 02.  I called TeleCheck and they have no record.  What is reason 02?
