I received a call (caller id: 213-228-8111) on 1-16-2008 at 8:36pm (PST) from a lady by the name of "Sherri" representating a company (unintelligable?) that provides free selling kits for Google. Make money with advertizing via google system. She claimed I had submitted a form online to receive the free kit offers, but would not provide additional details when asked. She said the kit would be mailed to me within 7-10 business days to the location of my choice. Sherri then advised the kit was free, but I would have to come up with the cost of shipping the product. $1.00 for shipping?? I advised her I was in-between pay checks and was not able to pay for the shipping costs. HEHE. She then requested my debt or credit card # to process the $1.00 cost of the shipping. Once, again I denied her request by stating I only pay in cash. She aburtly hung up upon requesting more information from her.

I am not really sure where she picked up my phone #, but I could tell it was a scam off the bat. He accent sucked and her grammar was rather poor. Hope no ones pays anything (even a $1.00) over the phone to get financial raped by these f%%kers..

Received numerous calls on my home & cell phone.  Called 3X in less than an hour.  I've told them in the past to delete me permanently from their call list and the last time they called I registered my number once again with the National Do Not Call Registry.  This morning I called them back and told them I was filing a complaint with the National Do Not Call Registry.

I have been receiving calls from this number for days and they call anywhere from 7-12 days. If I answer I get told to hold and someone will be with me shortly - sorry, this is my cell phone buddy and I am NOT paying for you to call me & put me on hold.

I tried calling it back, same thing... put on hold.

I started receiving calls from this number about a week ago.  It is constant all day while I am working and then when I try to return the call I get the all agents are busy please hold.  I never hold however, I have tried to call in the evening around 8:00 and verizon says the number is not in service.  I want this person or persons to stop calling me.

Tim: I received that same email and I believe that's when the calls started.  I think we have found the source.  The free government grant form.

AH I know!! This stupid number will not stop calling me! My mom chewed them out horribly saying that they should stop harrassing a 15 year old or she will call the police.  I don't understand who this company is.  When we tried calling back we were put on hold for 30 min and this machine said we were "next in line".  One time we did answer and this foreign lady said something about "government grants".  When my mom asked what company she worked for she did not answer.  It is really weird.

These calls are coming from a known scam/spam artist doing business under the name Global Reach International.

You can call: 213-452-6539 and ask to be put on their Do Not Call list.

You can also file a complaint wqith the FCC at http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm

And add your phone numbers to the Natioanl Do Not Call List at https://www.donotcall.gov/

Finally, Pacific Bell / AT&T is their phone carrier. Haven't figured out how to complain to them yet but, if you know, post it here.
