CARSAFE SENT ME THE SAME ADVERTISEMENT AND THEY CALLED SAYING THEY WERE FROM THE CAR MANUFACTURE. MY HUSBAND PURCHASED A WARRANTY FROM THEM. OUR DEALERSHIP INTURN HAPPENED TO CALL ABOUT OUR VEHICLE AND I ASKED THEM ABOUT THE WARRANTY. THEY SAID THEY WOULD NEVER CALL TO RENEW OR LET US KNOW THAT A WARRANTY WAS EXPIRING. I CALLED CARSAFE TO CANCEL THE WARRANTY, THE SALES PERSON KEVIN WAS VERY RUDE BECAUSE I WANTED TO CANCEL. HE WANTED TO KNOW WHO I WAS GOING TO PURCHASE A WARRANTY FROM AND HOW MUCH IT COST. I TOLD HIM THAT I DIDN'T WANT TO DISCUSS THAT WITH HIM. HE BECAME VERY ANGRY SAYING THAT HE COULD MATCH WHATEVER THE OTHER COMPANY OFFERED, I TOLD HIM I JUST WANTED MY MONEY BACK, HE SAID THAT'S DUMB WHY WOULDN'T I LET HIM MATCH THE OTHER COMPANY. I TOLD HIM THAT I HAD FOUND COMPLAINTS ON LINE ABOUT CARSAFE. HE SAID THAT WAS JUST A NAME AND THAT HE WORKED FOR INTERSTATE. I TOLD HIM I STILL WANTED TO CANCELL AND HE SAID FINE JUST GIVE ME YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS I'LL SEND YOU A FORM TO COMPLETE AND WHEN WE RECIEVE THAT FORM YOU WILL RECIEVE YOU MONEY WITHIN 30 DAYS. I ASKED WHY SO LONG HE SAID THAT'S JUST OUR POLICY. HE WAS SO RUDE I CALLED BACK TO SPEAK TO A MANAGER. SPOKE WITH THE MANAGER CHRIS AND HE WAS RUDE TOOOOOOO. THIS COMPANY NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN ASAP. I HATE FOR PEOPLE TO LOSE THEIR JOBS BUT THESE PEOPLE NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN FOR FRAUD AND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I HATE COMPANIES THAT TRY TO STEAL MONEY FROM CONSUMERS. I HATE THIS COMPANY FOR TRYING TO RUN A SCAM ON ME ......

That was false and deceptive, and they defrauded you by getting your money through making that false statement.
"HE BECAME VERY ANGRY SAYING THAT HE COULD MATCH WHATEVER THE OTHER COMPANY OFFERED,"
Doesn't matter what they "match". If they are engaged in fraud to get your money, what are the odds they will pay off anything?
" I TOLD HIM I STILL WANTED TO CANCELL AND HE SAID FINE JUST GIVE ME YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS I'LL SEND YOU A FORM TO COMPLETE AND WHEN WE RECIEVE THAT FORM YOU WILL RECIEVE YOU MONEY WITHIN 30 DAYS. I ASKED WHY SO LONG HE SAID THAT'S JUST OUR POLICY. "
That is a common tactic with fraudulent telemarketers.
The goal is to string you along past the FRB Reg. E or FCBA dispute window, so your bank can't reverse the charges due to fraud. They may never send you a "form", or if they do, they will "lose" it, or claim they never received it, or if they finally claim they got it, they will just wait a few weeks. Once 60 days from your statement date showing their charge passes, your bank is out of the picture, and they can just ignore you. By the time you figure out they aren't refunding anything, it will be too late.
"HE SAID THAT WAS JUST A NAME AND THAT HE WORKED FOR INTERSTATE."
Every name they give is "just a name". You have no idea who they are. Last time they were your car manufacturer. Did they even ever send you some "warranty contract"? (not that it is worth the toilet paper it would be written on).
"POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I HATE COMPANIES THAT TRY TO STEAL MONEY FROM CONSUMERS. I HATE THIS COMPANY FOR TRYING TO RUN A SCAM ON ME ......"
They haven't tried. They have succeeded. They still have your money.
Immediately contact your bank to dispute their charges due to fraud. Follow up with a written dispute and fraud affidavit. While you are at it file a fraud complaint with your local police, so you can get a copy of the police report to back up your bank fraud dispute. Your bank can reverse charges if notified of your dispute within 60 days of the statement date of the statement showing the charges, under FRB Reg. E for checking accounts, or FCBA for credit cards.
In addition, file fraud complaints with FTC, your state Attorney General, their state Attorney General, and the U.S. Postal Inspector (for mail fraud, since they mailed you advertising as part of their fraudulent scheme).
Thank You!
