Royal Holiday Scam

I purchased a Royal Holiday Club time share in Puerto Vallarta Mexico.  I never gave them my social security as this was a transaction in Mexico.  They never disclosed to me there were yearly maintenance fee's.  $17,000 dollars lost.  I have been harassed for years now for the maintenance fees.  Which I refused to pay.  I continued to ask them for a copy of the contract which they never gave me.  They continued to tell me they would ruin my credit if I didn't pay.  This is a form of extortion and fraud.  True to their word they finally somehow got my social security number and were able to ruin my credit.  I am now looking for an attorney to figure out what I am able to do about these thieves.  Of course I tried to use their services.  But, every time I tried they were busy or not available.  They would continue to tell me to try a different date.  This lasted for 4 years as I attempted to use the services for which I paid $17,000 dollars.  How can it be that a contract signed in Mexico could follow you 9 years later and ruin your credit.  This has to stop.  We need to unite and create a class action lawsuit against this company.  They continue to ruin lives.
