damaging laundry

I have owned this washer for 10 months now and have had about $500 worth of clothing damaged. It averages about one piece every other load. We started noticing holes and tears in items about 5 monts after we bought itand thought that it was just an occasional fluke. The clothing gets stuck in between the drum and the gasket and when it is on the final spin it gets shredded. DO NOT BUY THIS WASHER!!! I am in the process of dealing with customer service now.
