I received a Call Back in April of 2022 saying they were going file criminal complaint t in court for bank fraud for U S Bank. I told them go take a walk off short pier hung up. They say it's for breach of contract with the bank and try to use strong arm tactics to collect. Will after this first call 3 months later, they call again then text message me, saying they are going to file complaint with courts and so on if I don't call them back, this time leaving voice messages. This last time over 4 weeks ago I talk to one of there so call litigators makes you wonder they are assuming that you think they are a law firm, telling me it's close to the 10-year mark trying to explain the toll act how the interest is compounded and its large sum of money. Well, I figure this becoming b.s . I said look send me the paperwork you. They stated we have pack together and we going to serve you. I told them good then I see you in court. Well, it's been close to 4 weeks and nothing. I call them back left a nice little voice mail putting them on notice of their violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). if the keep doing what they are doing I have no problem in filing a law suite .

    The 10-year mark is critical to debt collectors because after 10 years (depending on the State you live in), they can't sue or attempt to collect anymore.  Also, look at violations of State law as well as federal law.  I've been down this road before.  Never answer the phone and talk to them ever again because each time you do they "renew" the 10-year extension to harass you.
