Indian man saying someone used my ss# and my name

My work calls em and says a indian man is calling them every 30 secs asking for me. His name he went by was raymond thonmpson. I called him and says someone has used my name and ss# and now i am in big trouble. Told me to suck his #### and go f### myself....that he will find me and kill me when he sees me. I immediately hung up and called the local police dept. They said they has several calls that were just like mine and that they were sending a cop to file a report. He must of got my home ph when i calle dhim and he called me 50 times and harrased me. I am going to do my hardest to get a bunch of people togehter to get these people in bars they are overseas people too.

    This is a common fake "payday loan debt collection" scam, often run by criminals calling from India using cheap VoIP phone service.

    They are liars.  
    All their alleged "debt" claims are fake.
    They cannot carry out any of their threats.

    File complaints with the FBI.

    The one piece of information that would help shut down this type of scam is how they want their victims to transfer the money.  

    There are a number of reports they use Western Union or Moneygram.  Adequate consumer warnings against fraudulent debt collection scams on those sites, or at their affiliated agents, would go a long way to cutting off their ability to get money.

    See if you can get them to disclose how they want the money sent.
