I have received many spam messages from jcpenney@jcpenneyem.com, including offers for weight loss products, home mortgage refinancing, and other things. I look through the email to find unauthorized uses of logos and trademarks, and then forward the messages to those companies.

I have been getting the same emails, pretty much on a daily basis. I have unsubscribed all of them multiple times and from the one at the bottom of the original emails as well. Before the jcpenney@jcpenneyem.com started sending emails, I got the same exact emails from info@intuit.com. Anyone know how to stop these things?
same thing happened to me. I never had spam before.

I will NEVER give JC Penny one cent of my business. It would seem that my internet security software or my email provider could block this crap. I have managed to have them sent to my "suspect" file where they are immediately deleted (but I had to do this myself with my spamblocker by entering the domain name). Computer software, as we all know, can LEARN; SO WHY NOT HERE????? How many times does it take for me to BLOCK the same domain name for my software to LEARN in this case that I don't want to receive this????
Cool you jets. 1) J C Penney has NOTHING to do with this spam. Not patronizing it is not going to do a thing to change what is happening. The sender is a spammer trying to get you click/link for nefarious purposes such as dropping bot or CryptoWall software. 2) My e-mail ISP (Earthlink) forces this stuff into the suspect mail box where I report it as spam. Ultimately, when enough people categorize it as spam, JCPenneyem.com will just disappear to the spam box. Sure computer programs as supposed to learn, but apparently spam is not a super high priority for the developers. If you are really overwhelmed by the spam, change your e-mail address and be sure NEVER to use e-mail with any person who is connected by e-mail to any other person who is connected to any other person who has a zombie bot infecting the computer. And of course never click on links that are uninvited or unknown. And never download software from a source you do not know.
