Scam all the way. We were owned by GE at one time. It was a GE investment. Jason does not exist, but the scammers do. Be careful what you say. They try to get you to acknowledge by saying y** and turn your words around so you can be used to fall into a trap. 187 calls later they still call

OK, So I'll admit it. I'm Jason. No, I mean the real Jason. The one with the hockey mask. I've been doing this as a side gig. Since drowning in Crystal Lake at age 11, I've made it my business to mess with people. Rest assured, this is a scam. If these people actually *do* come to your house, I might be with them.

I am so confused.  He calls me so many times - - it dawned on me that it might be a fake human.  How could one person make so many calls.  So I tried to engage him and he actually responded somewhat appropriately.  So now I am not sure....is he a human or is it a sophisticated robot?  Whatever, it is very creepy. I can't imagine they are actually trying to sell anything.  I would love to know what they are up to.  They seem to be focused on  getting me to answer the question "are you the owner of the house?"  So annoying and puzzling!

GE sold their security business in 2010.  They do not make or sell any home security systems.  Anyone trying to sell GE security systems is a scammer.

THIS PLACE SHOULD BE AVOIDED.... IT IS A SCAM.... read below

In 2010, GE sold its Security business to UTC Fire & Security Americas Corporation, Inc. (“UTCFSA”).

GE doesn’t manufacture or sell home security systems.

Part of that sale included the right to continue to manufacture GE-branded home security equipment. Since that time, GE has not manufactured or sold home security equipment or systems and UTCFSA ceased making, marketing or selling any GE-branded home security equipment in 2016.

It has come to GE’s attention that there have been telemarketing calls and door-to-door sales people saying they work for GE Security and attempting to sell home security systems. This is a scam. These people do not work for GE or UTCFSA.

    GE and UTCFSA do not
    – manufacture, market or sell GE-branded home security equipment or systems
    – offer, market or sell professional home security monitoring services
    – sell GE-branded security equipment or systems directly to consumers
    – place any telemarketing calls, or
    – authorize third parties to place telemarketing calls to consumers about the sale of home security equipment or systems.

There are no “authorized dealers” of GE and/or UTCFSA authorized to use the GE brand to market home security equipment or services directly to consumers.

If any such person is threatening or abusive to you, please contact your local law enforcement.
