Why would people crossover railway lines if they have proper way to lead out of the platform. The drive that railway police is running to catch people who cross over the railway line should also see that the people don’t have the problem to climb over the stairs for bridge. At the parel station on central line there is only one stairs and a huge bridge over the railway line, but commuters have to wait almost for half hour to get to the staircase, in the morning rush hours and some of them to hurry out to office cross over the railway line, and this is where the railway police wait for the earning opportunities 10 – 15 people almost every day are caught at this station and this is only for the lack of staircase.
Parel is the place where you have maximum number of hospitals KEM, TATA, ENT Gandhi Memorial, etc. In the morning hours patients and office goers rush together, as the patients take long to climb over the staircase, there is an huge rush. Half of the platform be covered with the commuters to climb upstairs it is impossible to get upstairs before the next train arrives and people wait and see at least 4 to 5 trains go bye. People also change over the central to western and visa versa by this station.
There is a solution for every problem and not held people for ransom. There is a huge place towards the Dadar side of the platform for the over bridge to be constructed.
Why is the authorities not looking in for the ease of the commuters or are they only interested in catching people crossing over the lines and making money on the name of the security to those people who are allowed to crossover and then held for earnings to railways by the people who should help secure peoples life other then making there earnings.
