Sounds like another scam "collection" shakedown racket.

Any calls to friends, relatives or employer?
    Any accents?
    What phone numbers?

This shows up.  They appear to be in Texas, and subject to Texas law, which requires licensing and bonding, and response to consumer disputes within 30 days.

If they are harassing you by phone, and evading your attempts to get them to stop by refusing to identity themselves, file complaints with FTC and the Texas AG.  FDCPA prohibits causing a phone to ring for purposes of harassment.

If they keep calling, get an attorney.  You can find a consumer attorney in your state through www.naca.net

I have no debt.  I have an excellent credit report.  These people make up crap and try to tell you you owe money on loans you never had, because somewhere they bought your information.  It's identity hijacking.

I JUST started getting phone calls from this company (314) area code (out of St. Louis, MO I believe) and they have called twice in two days. I have talked to them at least 20 min. each time... I have had my cell phone since 2005 and they are claiming I had one from 2006-2007 and owe over $1,000 on it. Impossible. They will give me NO information besides it was supposedly though Cingular and a huge long account number. I also just got a copy of my credit report and it IS NOT on there. Don't give them any information. They say I can go to their website and check but you have to register then log in... no way I'm doing that.
