I keep getting calls from different numbers in Minnesota BUT they are all different and never leave a message!!

    Other complaints report that they are some scammy magazine subscription telemarketer.  

    Reports consistent with attempts to cram unordered magazine subscriptions using deception, and obtain payment for them, or obtain payments for "cancelling" unordered "subscriptions", either of which would be fraudulent telemarketing.

    Reports are consistent with obtaining customer lists, possibly including bank account or credit card information, by illegal transfers from other merchants.  They may be using such information in deceptive calls to attempt to fake "authorizations" to charge accounts where the consumer has not disclosed the account information and so doesn't realize they are "authorizing" charges.

    I received a call on my cell from this number. I was at work so I obviously could not answer. I decided to put the phone# thru the reverse directory and that brought up 4 names for that same phone#. 3 of the names were at the same address while only 1 was different.  I googled the names and I was only able to find info on 1 of the names and it was a conviction report.  That is why I have felt it was important to relay this information. This person was arressted for Offering Forged Checks.  While I do not know what that charge means specifically, the forged checks is scary enough, especially since the others getting calls from this number were being asked to give their credit card numbers or even checking account numbers to them.  Please be very careful & remember it is better to be safe than sorry.

    I have also been getting calls from the above numbers - if I answer they ask about whether my magazine subscription is getting to me. When I tell them I don't have a subscription or ask which magazine it is for they always hang up.
