damaged my roof

Direct tv has installed satellite dishes on my roofs without approval and has damaged my properties.  They refuse to take responsibility for any damage and tell me to sue our tenants.
I'm in Columbus, Ohio and wonder how a company can install brackets on my roofs without approval from the landlord.  They tell me that they ask the tenant if they have permission.  What a laugh!!!!!!
