I received a post card last year in the mail and I called them because I thought they were legit. I paid them $295 for the first payment and $140/month after that. In January 2008 my vehicle needed to get fixed at the dealership. They told me that they do not honor the warranty with this company because they do not pay their claims. That we customers would have to pay cash and them fight with dealer warranty services to get reimbursed for the funds. Then I found out that my warranty didn't expire for another 8 months, so I ended up being covered by my factory warranty. I called dealer warranty services because i have been paying them for months for no reason. I told the woman on the phone what the dealership said about not honoring the extended warranty because they never pay their claims and they had lost alot of money because of this. She said that it is not true that they would never not pay their bills. I asked her to cancel my service and refund me all the money that I had paid. A couple of months go by and still no refund, so I called again and the woman that i spoke with told me that I was not due a refund because I had drove over the mileage, that they have a mileage prorated chart that they have to go by. I hadn't even driven over 500 miles since my first payment. I told her I wanted to speak to a manager and she hung up on me. I haven't done anything legal because it would cost me more in leagal fees and time off work to try to fight this for my money back. Please stay away from these phony companies that are trying to steal our money.

    You were scammed.

The Missouri Attorney General sued them back in March.  You might contact his office.

"Dealer Warranty Services of St. Charles, for using misleading notification letters to pressure, confuse and intimidate consumers into purchasing MVESCs they did not need. The defendant also misrepresented to consumers the cost of purchasing the MVESCs and debited the bank accounts of several consumers without authorization. The lawsuit was filed in St. Charles County Circuit Court. "

It would appear that this com. is a little bit questionable. I've done a little research and it did not look especially great. Concerning Debit cards being used improperly as I see it.
