This guy calls me up who has a very obvious Indian accent named Adam Smith claims they are representing Cash Partners of America, a payday loan company and they had deposited $750 into my account AND that I had never paid it back, ignored them and they tried to withdraw the money back out of my account.  About 6 months ago I had applied for a a loan of this type, but changed my mind b/c of the terms...Since I was certain I had never had any money deposited into my account, I started asking questions like what's my account #, date of deposit, their company address, their company website.  He offered my bank's routing #, but that is the same for the entire state.  He asked if I'd like to settle out of court or he will be seeing me in my county courthouse in the AM the next day...knowing this is not possible for him to do I gladly offered up my attorney's number, he asked if it was civil or criminal since these are criminal charges...I told him criminal attorney & he is the best in the state...he put me on hold...when he came back on the line, I told him I looked them up and there were nothing but scam reports all over google about them...He hung up, ha !

    Hello...I am glad I googled "Cash Partners of America" please guys dont fall for this. I got the same call TODAY called 3 times from a unavailable # after they called n left a message on a 646 area code #! Stating I owed as many of you said "$5,000" and some odd number of dollars for a "legal case". They would not state where they were calling me from just kept saying "a law office".Stating they have my info and will be seeing me at a courthouse tomorrow morning. A pure crock of s***. Somehow I plan to block the # calling me. I have alerted my bank and will take further precautions as you guys have stated.Have a good night...and dont fall for this crap!!!

    Just got the same call AT work from "Benjamin Linas"  Funny that is the scary manipulator from LOST!!  He had no exact info on my "CASE" just told me not to interrupt.  He asked if I still banked at Chase!!  Yeah right!! When I told him I was at work and couldn't continue this conversation and asked for HIS number, he asked for MY PERSONAL # so he could call ME back!  Yeah Right!!  Thanks for all these comments.  At least I know this isn't legit and I don't have to worry about it.  But, I do wonder, if they have the last four of my SS#, do they have the rest?  What else do they have and where did they get it????

    Just got a call from these people and spoke to two guys(indian accent). they pulled the same as abouve but used DCA LAW FIRM. said i was being sued for teft and going to court tomorrow. told them they can bring the papers to my office and i will contact my attorney. I work for the State of Texas!!!! he wanted my cell number, told him his senior atty can call me at work like they did. I have not had a payday loan in 3 years and nothing on my credit report at to I am going through Lexington Law to clear up my credit. and this is not one. Man i am pissed!!!!!

    They said i did not pay 1095.95 and now owed 5480.87 and they will be at my office at 11:00am on 10/25/11 to serve me the papers. this guys name was Jeff Peterson and I have 3 counts of fraud, vilation of banking regulations and theft by something. Thanks everyone about will report them to the FBI as well along with if they show tomorrow.....will call the locate PD TO COME AND ARREST. AGAIN I WORK FOR THE ATTORNEY GENERAL OFFICE!!!

    The same people called me Eddie Jones and said i owed 5,484,84 for pay day loans cash partners of america..He said that i was gonna be served papers at my job and home and i would have to go to court and pay all the money back..I would be charged with violation of bank account,collertal damages and theft of stolen money...646-580-3624  Plz nobody believe what he or they r telling ya call the police or the news right away..

    They must be calling all sorts of people. I received 2 calls the last hour. He couldn't give me any information. Is there really a company Cash Partners of America? I would like to verify ...
