I just went through this! The entire way through it I had reservations as well, but they kept telling me that I had authorized it, they had taped it and would not let me back out of it. I tried backing out of it many times during the conversation. When they started telling my CC company that they were my 'Personal Assistant', when they told me how they were doing this, all of which of course comes up AFTER they have done the Credit Card Authorization. Being the person that I am, I felt that I had to live up to my obligation and they don't give you a chance to think about it, check them out, etc. Good Reason... You'd never do it! I even told the 'Assistant' I didn't want to do this... They put me on with Quality Assurance... (probably their co-worker at the desk next to them) who said it was too late, as they had a tape recording with me 'authorizing', etc. In the end my Credit Card Declined... but again, when I said... since it was 'declined' can't I back out of this... again I get the 'You agreed to the contract'... I should have hung up and took my chances of them coming after me. They use intimidation tactics and for Good People who want to believe the best about their REFUND policy, we get taken. I told them I had every intention of paying off my CC and getting the refund, etc. Still believe they would give me my refund. We'll see, but the fact that the number they gave me to call says 'Unallocated' and the fax number they gave me to show I paid of my CC within the 30 days for refund of the $1995 doesn't exist... well, leaves me with a pit in my stomach. I called my CC company today and am having new cards issued. They can only dispute the charge, but because of the agreement we make to let our 'Personal Assistant' talk to them, it may not help. If you are reading this, I'm hopeful you were smarter than me and hung up! Feeling a little more jaded today... I don't want to become a Jaded person, but stuff like this points me to that direction :( Maybe I'll take it to one of those News Story's like '3 on your side' since they appear to be located in my home state... Lets get them exposed!

In fact, stop answering the phone.
It's just a scam.
Block your card number, file fraud disputes on any charges, and ignore their threats.
