defective furniture

Do not buy the Chateau D'ax sectional leather couch from Macys or anyone else.  I bought a Chateau D'ax couch for $3700 in April 2007.  The couch still looks like new but the frame in one of the sectional pieces collapsed.  Macy's would not replace the sectional piece.  The Worry No More extended warranty service is also worthless.  They do not cover anything that is a manufacturer's defect plus they are very unresponsive.   This couch has had no major wear and tear.  We are not huge people with kids jumping up and down on it.  It was major failure in the construction.  If you look online, you will see that this has happened to others who have bought this couch. If Macy's cares about its customers, it should stop selling this brand.  Save yourself a lot of headache and money and don't buy it.
