Numerous similar reports of fraudulent charges are being reported on other threads. It appears that "Digital Star Ltd." was "dissolved" on Jan. 29, 2012. It looks like their merchant account is now under control of criminals submitting fraudulent charges.
If you are getting fraudulent charges, IMMEDIATELY block the card number, and submit a fraud dispute to your bank. Your bank can reverse fraudulent charges if you dispute promptly.

Also, looks like they are coming back around to retry old card numbers that worked the first time.
They may be assuming this is going to end fairly soon, as reuse is easier and faster than "pinging" new numbers, but also makes it more likely that the new charge will be caught, since it followed an earlier one.
That is consistent with having to "work" to get card information, i.e. not having some large list of complete card info from a database hack.. The "work" they save may be their "cost" to "ping".
This is consistent with "pinging" rather than a database hack.

They have a small window of opportunity to reuse already confirmed card info, as monthly statements with their fraudulent charges are starting to go out, increasing the chances that the accounts and cards will be blocked.
