Harrassed by Cash Call and I'm not Even a Customer

I am at my wits end over this company called Cash Call. I was used as a reference by my sister who took out a loan with them. She fell behind on her payments earlier this year due to an accident which left her temporarily unable to work. Cash Call started calling me about 2 month ago, first trying to inquire about my sisters phone number.

Since then they are calling me up to eight times a day and have begun threatening me. In one phone call the person tried to say that I was my sister. In another phone call I was told that I had better cooperate or that they will make it hard on me. They have even tried to send me loan documents to sign on her behalf ......they are asking me to pay for this loan.

These people are nuts. I need some sort of relief, I have asked them not to call but they disguise their number and call on several different phone number or marked the line as unknown. They have been harassing me on my cell. I contacted my state and was told that there is not much that they can do but I have to fill out a complaint form and it may take up to several weeks for a response.

Not only are they calling me but they are also calling my elderly mother and have threatened her as well. They openly discuss the amount of this loan with any and everyone that they have contacted. I was under the impression that if you are not the client they cannot discuss your personal business. I guess that this is not so with this company.

Tonight I got another round of phone calls. The representative tried to tell me that I promised to help them by sending money for an account that I do not have with them. I told her Not to call me again. I hung up and seconds later she called me again, wanting me to give her information on their client that they already had. I told her that I had confirmed that information for them several months ago and not to call me again. She then threatened me and said that this is the reason why my PEOPLE have a problem. Now she went there with an ethnic assumption.

What gives these so called companies to harass a person that a) is not a client and b) not a cosigner on this loan. I await a reply with any assistance that you can offer. Thanking you in advance.

I got a cash call loan for $2600 with 96% interest. I paid a total of $4241 and decided to stop further payments unless they lowered the interest. They refused, so I stopped paying them and put up with their harassing calls and letters. But I stood my ground. They ended up suing me. I appeared in court with no documentation and no defense really. I simply told the judge I would rather make payments to the court than to Cashcall at 96% interest. He said he would review the matter and I would be contacted with his ruling. Anyways, today I got a letter from the court. They ruled completely in my favor & I don't owe ANY more money to anyone! Woot!!! So I HIGHLY recommend to anyone dealing with Cashcall: Just pay the ammount you borrowed, then let them sue you if they want. Hopefully the judge will rule in your favor like he did mine. Good luck! :)

I borrowed $2500 from them and have paid them over $7200. I got cancer and they continued to call me even in the hospital. What I want to know is that they will sue you? The loan is now over the amount that I borrowed and I am not paying them back any more money. So you recommend letting them sue you? Crap.

You get rid of them by paying back the money you borrowed per the terms you borrowed it at - pretty simple really I would think.

    really??
These people, and myself, have paid and paid and paid as the last one noted more than 3x the amount. They keep changing the terms and lying on credit  reports. Maybe if you would read all of the posts you would get it. I HATE STUPIDITY!

I had a loan through this payday predator Cashcall a few years back and when I missed a payment date they contacted  one of the references on my original application and revealed who they were and how much I owed them also that I'd better call them immediately or the calls to my references would continue unabated! I filed a complaint with the attorney general of my state Pennsylvania and they investigated this matter I recieved a copy of thier response to the state which was that they were sorry this happened and that they doled out severe discipline to the employee that was responsible , I still have a copy of this letter if it would be of help to your cause of shutting down this menace of a company, also how could they have given me this loan if it is banned in my state of PA

Well, silly little "Mr Pay your bills", i bet your stupid behind would also complain if you were in their position. So shut the hell up and keep it moving if you dont have anything positive to contribute. And by the way, this has nothing to do with me, but your insensitivity towards these helpless people has really pissed me off!

I agree, I was told to have an attorney write them and demand to show I owe them money.
they cant because they used a fictitous nane of Andre to call me every day.
He then recommended that Cash Call show up in court to prove that Andre exists at my phone number. He doesnt.
Then it turns into a "how have you beencontacting Andre all this time since he is delinquent?"

Write me at suz72ehs@yahoo.com and I'll send you the entire letter.

I have been receiving calls from this company cash call, saying that I have an outstanding loan with t. I told them I have never heard of them, so it would be impossible for me to have a loan. Now they are sending letters. 2 in fact.  Has anyone else received a call from this company and do not have a loan with them? I really would like to know before I call them back. Thank you. Deb
