My son is getting nonstop hangup calls on his Pre-paid Net-10 phone.
All of the numbers are calling from area code (601), which is in McComb, Mississippi.
The calls are originating from (601) 684-9150, (601) 684-9260, (601) 684-8668, & (601) 684-8470.
This seems to be an ongoing problem, as the calls are coming in very often and they are coming back to back, with only seconds apart from each call.
If the calls continue, I guess I'll have no choice but to report these are harassment calls, as it's a volley of calls all from the same area code (601) and Prefix 684 within such a short period of time, day after day.
If anyone has any info about these numbers, please post it here. Thanks.

    Back to back calls, and from a cluster of numbers with the same area code and exchange number, indicate that the calls are being made by an autodialer, which are generally used by telemarketers or debt collectors.  Although your complaints are the only ones against these numbers showing up via Google at this time, if the calls are originating in a call center, it is likely that further complaints will start appearing within the next few weeks.

    It is a violation of the FTC Telemarketing Sales Rule (and TCPA) to make autodialed calls to cell phones without the permission of the cell phone owner.  It doesn't even require that the cell phone number be on the Do Not Call list.  You could file complaints with FTC, your state AG, and the Mississippi AG.  You can also sue for violations of TCPA in your local small claims court.

    I have been getting random calls on my Net10 phone, too. When I was on their unlimited plan, I didn't get ANY of these calls, but as soon as I switched back to the pre-paid card plan, I started getting them again...

    ---That's just my phone...don't get me started on my son's phone! And if you answer the call -- not only do you get no answer back, you are charged time on your phone. I wonder how much Net 10 pays these people to run down our minutes! I say class action suit!

    Either out of date, or being used to spoof caller id.
