I need your help. Last night at 8:20 I received a phone call from a white male calling himself, "Scott Sanders" and saying he was "calling from California" (NOT saying which organization he was representing.) Since I was expecting a call, I let him continue BUT as soon as he said, "a while ago you expressed an interest in the market ..," I knew this was another scam call.
Has anyone in the last few days received a similar call? Do you have any further info on these scumbags?

    Sounds like the opening line in some "stock investment program" pitched by a telemarketer expecting to cold call in violation of the Do Not Call laws.

    Just a guess, but it might be these guys.

    It is highly possible you are correct for several reasons. First off, since it was a late call (and this piece of crap claimed to be "calling from California") he was probably based on the West Coast. Second, these con artists have actually called before, but I thought I had let enough crap rain on their heads, they would have drowned by now. Since they always use fake names, it is difficult to pull the thread that way. Thanks.

    If it's CTI, they show up on caller id.

    Put your name on the Do Not Call list, notify them whenever they call to put you on their Do Not Call list, and start filing FTC complaints.

    The same jerk called me and said that he could turn ten grand into ioo grand as an investment,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,what a crock of.... I was eating my dinner and watching Gomer Pyle reruns when the [***] called.. it makes me want to punch him in the nose . Lots of jerks out there,,,, wanna kick his telemarketing butt straight to hell
