Sodwana Bay Guesthouse - Sodwana, Bay, Accommodation, elephant, coast, zululand.
Owner: André Slade
In 2007, André Slade gave up his corporate image and retired to the coast. His great love for Scuba diving, the outdoors and the hospitality industry was the drive to settle down in Sodwana Bay. He started building Sodwana Bay Guest house in October 2007 after the property was prepared. Being in this remote area was quite a challenge as most of the building materials had to be collected from suppliers no less than 200km away. The basic house was completed in February 2008.
The Guest house took its first guests in December 2008. I was busy with the restaurant when I started writing my first book, so it went on hold for five years, please excuse the entrance.
Katarína joined Me from Slovakia in November 2012, after completing graphic design high school, ... not wanting to go with the flow but looking for the answers, She booked a one-way ticket, and The Universe has brought Her here. Together We spent Our time writing and researching the truth. Our final publication was released October 2014 under the name Where to from Here, Cognition.
In a strive to go green, a sewerage purification plant from Calcamite was installed. Feng Shui design philosophy was also applied in the house design. The next step is to generate wind power.
