It eats my clothes

I have had my Whirlpool Duet for 2 years now. After 6 months, I already had to have the drum and some other large part replaced because it did not work properly. Then for the next few months, the problem was still there. My dad does repair on washers/dryers so he came over and have to take entire machine apart to fix problem. But since the time I got it, I have had so many clothes ruined because it eats them. I have called them numerous times with no help. My dad even told me about a memo Whirlpool sent out stated the exact problems with the type of washer I have and how many people are complaining of it eating clothes, that if they go out on this type of service call they are to replace the rubber seal and front door of washer to make it flat instead of beveled. Well thats great but when I called whirlpool they told me I would have to pay for those repairs out of my pocket. It will costs me $200 in parts and thats not including labor. I am fed up with this washer. I just did a load of laundry and it was a half load which included my daughters uniform and guess what it shredded her uniform skirt. I will be going to get myself a new washer tomorrow and will never buy Whirlpool again. I will make sure to tell as many people how horrible Whirlpool is and not to buy their products.

I have found the solution. Don't wait for the corporate buffoons to tap dance around their design flaw or greedy lawyers in a class action suit to get their palms greased. The answer is simple.....mesh style laundry bags. Fill two 24x36 bags half full - tie them off - and throw them in like a regular load. No more eating clothes.
