Failure to comply and fix damage property and replace fan- destroyed personal property

On June 16, 2017 - Queen Electric was dispatched to my home to replace/repair an attic fan. The technician arrived and went up to the attic to see the fan. He came down with the fan in his hand and told me that it would have to be replaced. I asked him how long and he said someone would call me. I wrote him a check for $75.00 and he went to the truck. He took the fan to the truck with him and never came back inside. I thought he was calling in the serial number to his boss. He left my property with the fan. I did not hear from them on Monday, June 19, or Tuesday June 20, 2017. I called them and got no response so I emailed them and got an email telling me that they were online with American Home shield. I was also on line with American home shield and so the representative I was speaking with told me that Queen Electric destroyed my fan and no longer have it. They also want to replace the frame around the fan because it was damaged. This was the first I heard of that. AHS decided that Queen Electric was liable for the damaged frame and they will pay for the fan only. The way I see this is AHS/Queen Electric should resolve this issue and make my claim whole. I should not have to negotiate with anyone for damages that a AHS Contractor did. In my opinion AHS should hold the contractor liable.
