travel ticket refund

Sir,
I had purchased a ticket from Indian airlines to travel to Kolkuta, but the airline was delayed by 3 hours, so I purchased other flight. Now after writing two emails and numerous phone calls to travel agents,(Travel Masters, chennai) I still have not received refund or PNR, to travel elsewhere.Its nearly a year ago and am sure to loose out as ,they will say the validity period is only one year.please advise.
