Amazing how two different people found this thread on the very same day.  They must have been frantically looking for it so they can tell the world how important they now feel.

Why would you expect to get "information" from calling them back.  All you need to know is that you will feel so much more important.  Now that's priceless!

Save your money and go take a college course.  Any topic will do.

You know whats really amazing, I've graduated from Harvard with a P.H.d. in bio-medical engineering and I am a member of the Prestigious National Honor Society.

I've spent my money on plenty of classes TJ, so your are the only person who's intelligence is being questioned right now.

Leaving my biography in their registry for the country as well as the future leaders of this world to see is not only a privilege but an honor. I advise anyone who is not a member to actually speak to someone who is before making assumptions.

They were very upfront and were even courteous enough to fax me my invoice while i remained on the phone because truthfully i doubted them. But they took every measure to ensure my satisfaction.

I am very pleased with this registry as i have been lied to by others.

Wow, they were nice enough to bill you immediately? Cool, you must be very happy, if a little dense. I have an organization called 'Really Great Honor Society'. We charge $500 a month because we're especially prestigious, but for that you get billed every day and we send some nice people around in person if you don't pay up.
Seriously, the only 'honor societies' that are recognized in any official capacity in the US are members of ACHS. Google them. Even some of them could be regarded as little more than a self-perpetuating money-making scheme for their founders, so read their annual reports (which are all online) to see where their money goes before paying to join anything at all. If an honor society appears to do nothing but self-promotion, that's probably all you'll get.

OOOO! I want to be a part of the Really Great Honor Society! Where do I send my check or can you withdraw funds from my bank account automatically every month? I received a call from the Prestigious National Honor Society and was ready to sign up until I saw Dave's post...Dave, sign me up!

That is, unless there's someone out there running something even better like the Super Fantastical Worldwide Honor Society ("SFWHS"). If anyone has a group like the SFWHS going, please let me know, as I'd be willing to pay big bucks for inclusion in that.

My husband is now a member of the prestigious National Honor Society, and I was happy to know there is only one fee. No repeat phone calls just business and we actually received what they said we would. I was able to track the merchandise and follow through day by day. So I am sorry you guys are having problems but they have called and made me aware of the sabotage that is taking place by the competition which can affect anyone's decision. There is nothing wrong with a little competition but slander is just outright wrong and Premiere Who's Who actually called me to say this is a phony company and I should feel safe giving Premiere Who's Who my credit card number lol like I was born yesterday, they even told me they have friends at the BBB that gives them the information on Prestigious. That made me scratch my head, my mom worked for the BBB for years before she passed and it is illegal to disclose that information and criminal charges should be pending if anyone from Prestigious is reading this you should contact an attorney for federal charges. I will swear in front of a judge for you guys. If I was 15 years younger I would travel to Long Island and give Premiere Who's Who a piece of my mind for a half hour phone call that was a waste of time. Anyway I have done my research on both companies and to my understanding Premiere Who's Who seems to have a horrible rating in almost every category including customer service and refunds are not available so buyers beware
                               Yours truly,
                                   Delores

Okay, if Prestigious National Honor Society is such a great thing, why don't I see it any where when I "google" it?

It appears to be a brand new site -- looks pretty nice, but where to they come off calling themselves "Prestigious" when no one has heard of them before. Check out their new launch press release:
    http://pnhsociety.com/blog/2010/04/14/hello-world/

The "honor" is just for being the first guinea pigs to get sucked into pay $750 (that's what I've heard) for the "honor" of being a member of the "Prestigious" National Honor Society.  It's nothing but a networking site you have to pay big bucks to join.  Save the money, and join LinkedIn -- it's free, and it is reputable.

(One positive note -- at least they have a 72 hours cancellation period.)

I'am one of the senior officers at Prestigious National Honor Scoiety its a shame that one of our ex employees has stolen company information and has been fired. We are a legitimate company and don't have Federal charges pending. We are taking legal action regarding this slander. If you have any questions you can contact us at (631)320-1905.

Only one fee???????????How about 9 thousand dollars and no materials in my hands just bills to my credit card week after week, without my authorization. This company is a SCAM--They never answer my phone calls or e-mails, just take my money-I have found out this company has federal charges pending. It is documented-this is an employee stating the fact-I am a consumer telling you they have robbed me of 9 thousand  dollars-I have a lawyer and the Better Businnes Bureau investigation on this on going scam.

    Lookout!
This is one of the biggest scams around.  They prey on trusting senior citizens who are in no need of their so called "services".  If you've been scammed please notify every agency you can to report them.  U.S. Postal Inspection Services, Federal Trade Commission, NY Attorney General, BBB and all blogs to get this out there.  They have to be stopped!  They will hit your account daily and charge up thousands!
