Why would you expect to get "information" from calling them back. All you need to know is that you will feel so much more important. Now that's priceless!
Save your money and go take a college course. Any topic will do.
I've spent my money on plenty of classes TJ, so your are the only person who's intelligence is being questioned right now.
Leaving my biography in their registry for the country as well as the future leaders of this world to see is not only a privilege but an honor. I advise anyone who is not a member to actually speak to someone who is before making assumptions.
They were very upfront and were even courteous enough to fax me my invoice while i remained on the phone because truthfully i doubted them. But they took every measure to ensure my satisfaction.
I am very pleased with this registry as i have been lied to by others.
Seriously, the only 'honor societies' that are recognized in any official capacity in the US are members of ACHS. Google them. Even some of them could be regarded as little more than a self-perpetuating money-making scheme for their founders, so read their annual reports (which are all online) to see where their money goes before paying to join anything at all. If an honor society appears to do nothing but self-promotion, that's probably all you'll get.
That is, unless there's someone out there running something even better like the Super Fantastical Worldwide Honor Society ("SFWHS"). If anyone has a group like the SFWHS going, please let me know, as I'd be willing to pay big bucks for inclusion in that.
Yours truly,
Delores
It appears to be a brand new site -- looks pretty nice, but where to they come off calling themselves "Prestigious" when no one has heard of them before. Check out their new launch press release:

The "honor" is just for being the first guinea pigs to get sucked into pay $750 (that's what I've heard) for the "honor" of being a member of the "Prestigious" National Honor Society. It's nothing but a networking site you have to pay big bucks to join. Save the money, and join LinkedIn -- it's free, and it is reputable.
(One positive note -- at least they have a 72 hours cancellation period.)
