cancelled orders

I also have had orders cancelled on sale items. When I called customer service they said they were out of stock on those items.  I had been at the physical store the day before and saw my cancelled items in the store. When I told this to customer service and asked if I take my receipt to the store they should then be able to fill my order in the store for the same price.  She said "no, you can buy it in the store but not for the same price - the web site states that online and store prices may vary".  They obviously do have the merchandise in stock so, it seems like a scam to charge my credit card hundreds of dollars - if they do this to 10 of thousands of people think how much money Dillard's is making. Even if they return the credit then they are making making money in interest on our money for merchandise they have no intention of selling.
